Finding and refreshing events

The event list shows all your events in chronological order. Filter displayed events using the List events starting from selector.

If another organizer has made changes, click the refresh button to reload the list from the server.

Managing an event

Click an event to open its settings window. Available actions:

Event monitor Opens the real-time event monitor — track punch data and participant progress during the competition. CTRL+M
Back up event Creates a backup of the event. Use before making major changes to classes or registrations. CTRL+S
Results Opens the results view — view, publish, and manage competition results.

Keyboard shortcuts work when the event settings window is open.

Rental chips and participant database

The top toolbar provides access to application-wide tools without opening a specific event:

  • Rental chips — Manage your organization's rental chips. See Rental chips.
  • Participant database — Shared participant data across all events
  • Code lists — Mapping control codes to device codes

Settings and account management

Main menu (☰) in the top toolbar:

  • Change password
  • Dark mode / Light mode — Switch theme
  • Settings — Language, theme, and other general options
  • Serial port settings — Timing reader configuration (icon green = connected, red = no connection)
  • Local server — Data transfer between devices without internet connection
  • Log out
  • Close application

Connection status

The status bar at the top of the application indicates the server connection status:

  • No indicator — Connection is working normally.
  • Red bar "No server connection" — Connection to the server is lost. Changes are saved locally to a queue and will sync when the connection is restored. You can continue working.
  • Red bar "Unsynced server messages" — Unsent changes in the queue. The bar shows the number of messages. Click the bar to inspect the queue — you can remove individual messages if needed.

Tip: Unsynced messages are sent automatically when the connection is restored. If messages remain stuck for a long time, check the network connection.

Starting competition day

  1. Log in — today's event is at the top of the list. If needed, adjust the List events starting from filter or click the refresh button
  2. Click the event → Edit event (CTRL+E) for last-minute changes
  3. Check Participant data — start list is in order
  4. Create a Backup (CTRL+S) before the competition starts
  5. During the competition: Event monitor (CTRL+M) tracks incoming punch data from mobile devices
  6. After the competition: Results — review, correct, and publish

Monitor the connection status bar throughout the day. Empty bar = all data from mobile devices is syncing in real time.
