Class status dot

A colored dot before the class name in the header:

  • Green β€” class complete, all participants finished
  • Blue β€” best possible position is 1st–3rd (tooltip shows exact position and time)
  • Yellow β€” best possible position is 4th or worse
  • Gray β€” class has not started yet (tooltip shows first start time)

If the tooltip contains "Not all have started", the best possible position calculation is not final.

The dot is only shown in individual events (not relays) and only when no checkpoint is selected.

Settings panel

  • Stage selection β€” in multi-stage events

  • Checkpoint selection β€” filter by a specific checkpoint

Auto-scroll

The checkbox Auto-scroll by start time is shown when no class is selected, no checkpoints are selected, and the event is not a relay.

Show all checkpoints

The checkbox Show all checkpoints is shown when a class is selected, no checkpoints are manually selected, the event is not a relay, and the class has checkpoints. When enabled, the window expands to show all checkpoint columns with split times.

Big picture: Announcing a club competition

You open the announcer's window from the event menu. Before the competition, you create a tracking group with the club's top runners and add notes about their recent form. As the competition progresses, you switch between classes with the arrow buttons and watch the status dots change from gray to blue to green. When a runner finishes, you check their split times with "Show all checkpoints" to see where they gained or lost time. The tracking group keeps your key athletes visible regardless of which class you're viewing.
